Founder and chairman of the Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI) and Director of its Center for Advancing Capitalism. He currently sits on the Institute Turgot. Formerly, he served as Director of Government Relations at the Council for a Competitive Economy, as a senior economist at the Association of American Railroads and as a senior policy analyst at the Environmental Protection Agency. He regularly takes part in U.S. television and radio programs and is the author of numerous publications. He holds a B.S. degree in Theoretical Mathematics and Political Science from Tulane University.
