Minister for Foreign Affairs of Mongolia since 2014. He served as National Security and Foreign Policy Advisor to the President of Mongolia (2009-2014). He worked at the Department of Europe, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Mongolia (2001-2009), at the embassy of Mongolia in Bonn (1995-2000), at the Department of Europe and America, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia (1993-1995). He also worked at the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany to Mongolia (1991-1993). He graduated from Moscow State Institute of International Relations.
