Founder of Cercle Cyclope, Professor emeritus at Paris-Dauphine University, Consultant for various International Organisations (OECD, EEC, UNCTAD). He was a member of the Council of Economic Advisors in the Office of the French Prime Minister. He published around forty books including the latest Une brève histoire économique du XXème siècle, published in 2019. He has been the President of the French Observatory on formation of food products’ prices and margins since 2010. He graduated from HEC, he is “agrégé” in History and holds a Doctorate in Humanities.
