Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to the People’s Republic of China. Former Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to the United States (2002-2011). He then embarked on a new career as an advisor for major Moroccan groups and multinationals. Previously, he served as the Moroccan ambassador to Italy, Malta, and, Albania, and the permanent representative to the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), Portugal, and Angola. He was the elected chairman of the Council of the FAO (2001-2005). He recently held the position of Ambassador for multilateral cooperation within the COP22 steering committee. He graduated from the HEC Graduate Business School in France.
