Aside from Oil and Gas, Mr. Jafar is CEO of Crescent Enterprises and Vice-Chairman of Gulftainer. He serves on the Board of Gama Aviation, Enshaa, Abraaj Capital and GrowthGate Capital. Mr. Jafar co-founded the Pearl Initiative, a Private-Sector venture between the GCC and the United Nations Office for Partnerships. Mr Jafar is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organisation, serving as Chair for the YPO Emirates Chapter. Mr Jafar was honoured as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum.
