Director General of the Strategic Policy Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Canada. He served as Ambassador of Canada to Poland (2009-2012). He held several positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs such as Director General for Intergovernmental Relations and Domestic Outreach (2005-2006), Director General for the European Union and Western Europe (2006-2008). He was also Chief of Staff to the Minister of Foreign Affairs (2002-2004). He graduated from the McGill University and the University of Massachusetts.
