Ambassador. François Gouyette has served as Ambassador of France from 2001 to 2023 in five arab countries: UAE, Libya, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia and Algeria. He was previously DCM in Syria and Turkey. He has also been Diplomatic Advisor to the Minister of Interior and Ambassador in charge of the EUROMed process in the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He is graduated in Law from the Paris University and in Arabic from the Oriental School in Paris.
