Lead Research Economist in the Development Research Department of the African Development Bank. Prior to joining the AfDB, he was full Professor of Economics,, University of Benin, Nigeria. He was also Health Economist/Economic Adviser to Resident Representative, World Health Organization, Lagos, Nigeria and Consultant to the AfDB and International Health Policy Program. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria.
