Lucas is Co-Director of the World Inequality Lab, Lecturer at Sciences Po Paris and a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for Sustainable Development and International Relations (IDDRI). He holds a PhD in economics and is the author of Insoutenables inégalités (2017), was coordinator of the World Inequality Report 2018 and is one of the main contributors to the 2019 United Nations Human Development Report.
