Luciano Barillaro

Consul General of Italy in Nice (France) since 2011. He served as Ambassador of Italy to Côte d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Liberia, Niger and Sierra Leone (2007-2009). He was also First Counsellor to the United Nations in Geneva (2003), Deputy Secretary General of The First Conference of Italians in the World (2000), Consul General in Lausanne and Jeddah (Saoudi Arabia). He graduated from the University of Perugia, John Hopkins University in Bologna and the College of Europe in Bruges.
