Member of the AXA Management Committee, Chairman & CEO of AXA France and in charge of overseeing the worldwide operations of AXA Assistance and AXA Global Direct. He joined AXA in 1991 as Vice-President of the Finance Department and was appointed Senior Vice-President of the AXA Group Finance Department in 1994. In 2002, he was promoted to CEO of AXA Investment Managers and, following his appointment as Group Chief Executive Officer of AXA UK, he became non-executive Chairman of the Board of AXA Investment Managers. He was Group Chief Executive of AXA UK (2006-2010). He graduated from the Ecole Polytechnique and has an actuarial degree from the Centre d’Etudes Actuarielles.
