Sverre Vedal

Professor in the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences at the University of Washington (UW) School of Public Health.  He directs the US Environmental Protection Agency Center for Clean Air Research at the University of Washington and has published widely on air pollution exposure and health effects.  He is currently pursuing air pollution health effects research with collaborators in China at the Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences (CRAES) through a successional chair program from the AXA Research Fund.  He received his MD from the University of Colorado and MSc in epidemiology from Harvard University.
