Chairman of Organización Cultiba, Grupo Azucarero Mèxico (Sugar Mills) and of GEPP. He is also a board member of Caterpillar Inc., Santander Mexico and a member of the International Advisory Council of Bombardier and Rabobank. He has served as CEO of COECE, Mexico`s Trade Coalition for NAFTA and Free Trade agreements since 1992. He was also President of Industrial Minera Mexico (Mexico’s largest mining company). He graduated from the Escuela Libre de Derecho in Mexico City.
