After having started his career with McKinsey and Co., Switzerland, as a Partner and Senior Partner, he was, at Crédit Suisse, a member of the Group Executive Board, initially responsible for the Group’s insurance business before becoming CEO of the Financial Services Division. He graduated with a PhD in Systems Engineering and a MS in Chemical Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich. He also holds a MBA from the University of Zurich.
